Amanda 28th June 2017

6 months have passed and it still seems surreal without you. Fathers Day came round. Ellis wanted to buy you a present from the school sale and leave it on your table, but we decided that you probably didn't need Lynx deodorant or bodywash! We've put your card in your remembrance book.......Ellis wrote that he remembers stroking your soft stubble. He likes to hold hands with me in bed like the two of you did, We still say goodnight to you and blow you a kiss. He keeps Jester close.....he loves that bear so much. I took Ellis to London for Fathers Day. I wanted to celebrate it. We went to the Science Museum and Hamleys, you would have loved it. He misses you so much, we both do. He said that the first 8 years of his life were perfect with you. Sandy Denny - Who Knows Where The Time Goes? Across the evening sky, all the birds are leaving But how can they know it's time for them to go? Before the winter fire, I will still be dreaming I have no thought of time For who knows where the time goes? Who knows where the time goes? Sad, deserted shore, your fickle friends are leaving Ah, but then you know it's time for them to go But I will still be here, I have no thought of leaving I do not count the time For who knows where the time goes? Who knows where the time goes? And I am not alone while my love is near me I know it will be so until it's time to go So come the storms of winter and then the birds in spring again I have no fear of time For who knows how my love grows? And who knows where the time goes?
